Guest House Domus Australia is located at Via Cernaia (at the corner of Via Castelfidardo), inside the walls of the old city of Rome and is five minutes walk from Porta Pia. From the Domus, it is a comfortable walk to the famous shopping area of the Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps and the beautiful gardens of the Villa Borghese.

Domus Australia is ten minutes walk from Stazione Termini (Rome’s main railway station), 300 metres from Repubblica Metro and within 150 metres of many major bus routes – including those to the Vatican. It provides an ideal base from which to explore historic Rome and the Vatican.

How to reach us

From Ciampino Airport:

• By taxi direct to Domus Australia – approximate cost is €50.00 in a private car
• By private car transfer from the airport. This can be arranged, in advance, through Domus Australia and a driver will be waiting for your flight. Please make a booking with our Reservations desk; they can also provide pricing and more information.
• By Terravision bus to Termini (Rome’s main central station) which is located approximately a 10 minute walk from Domus Australia. For more information, including a timetable, visit their website. The service takes approximately 40 minutes to Termini Station from the airport. The cost is €4 per ticket.
• COTRAL/Schiaffini operates buses from outside the terminal building to Anagnina Metro station. It takes 15 minutes and the price is € 1,20 per ticket. You can then take the Metro 15 stops from Anagnina Metro directly to Termini.

From Ciampino Airport:

Walking from Termini to Domus Australia

Once at Termini Station, Domus Australia is walking distance (a flat walk which will take 5-10 minutes, please see map above). After getting off the train, walk to the main station concourse (where there are shops, ticket office, etc). Take the exit on the right side of the station (keeping the train platforms behind you), the road in front of you is Via Marsala. Turn left and walk along Via Marsala (this street becomes Via Volturno), continue straight ahead until you reach Via Cernaia. Once you reach the intersection of Via Volturno and Via Cernaia, turn right into Via Cernaia. Domus Australia is located on the other side of the street at number 14/B, opposite the Trimani Wine Bar.
